When will my order arrive?

Boxes are shipped within two weeks from the date of your purchase and completion of the Style Quiz. If your box is delayed, you will be contacted. Please keep in mind that holidays may delay shipment or shipping timelines.

Can I pick what goes into my box?

You can always share your preference for certain items in the Style Quiz! Your box is thrifted with you in mind, including your preferences, but this is no guarantee as the boxes are inherently mystery boxes.

Can I order a box for a friend?

Yes! At checkout you can designate if your order is for a friend. You will then be prompted to share your friend’s email address, details about the occasion, and when you would like them to be notified of your surprise gift! Note: the Style Quiz must be completed by the person who ultimately receives the box. Notification of the gift will include a link to the Style Quiz, as well as an occasion-appropriate note (where applicable). 

For example:

“You have received The Short Story Box from Thrift Storia! Your friend, [name of sender], has sent you some thrifted magic in honor of [occasion]. Please click the link below to complete the Style Quiz to add your box to the Thrift List! Once you complete the Style Quiz, your items will be mailed to you within two weeks.”

In order to ensure timely delivery for a special occasion, please place your order one month prior to the date of the event or holiday.

What if I don’t like my items?

There are no refunds, returns or exchanges. 

Mystery Boxes are intended to be a fun surprise, which requires not knowing exactly what items you will receive. All items are thrifted for you based on your answers to the Style Quiz, but this quiz is not intended to fully capture your personal taste. Instead, boxes are meant to offer new or alternative styles for you to try!
